Omega Seamaster Diver 300m OEM Bracelet.

I see no reason for all the negative talks about the bracelet. I totally disagree with them & find it aesthetically beautiful and complete. Omega Seamaster Diver 300m blue dial, 42mm case diameter on my 7.5” wrist. What do you think?

I like the way it looks, but I also prefer a greater emphasis on brushing for tool watch bracelets. I recognize that not many people would consider the SMP300 to be a tool watch, but part of why I'm interested in them is the fact that they're a capable tool watch + luxury elements. Style-wise, I also prefer a less flashy bracelet, but that's subjective too. The lack of taper doesn't bother me at all. It's really just a bit dressy for the kinds of watches that I tend to consider buying, but I still find it aesthetically appealing in the same way that a lot of dress watches are to me, despite not being something I'd buy.

Love mine. I don’t agree with the hate it gets either. Always wear it on that bracelet

Agree with you that it carries a dressy vibe. I’d like to add that with the non-tapering, it may not suit those smaller wrists. That’s the only downside I see. Cheers!

I do too! 🎯

It could certainly be improved, but it's not ugly by any means.

It’s an icon, tough & masculine. 😘

I feel it works better on the earlier models like the 2531.80.

There’s something about the endlinks on the current iteration that just looks clunky and cumbersome.

Yeah, depends on how you view masculinity. 😀Toughness at every cost has considerable downsides, in every area.

·

It's still the only thing I don't like about that watch

I own 4 Omegas including a white dial SMP so I am more an apologist than hater of the brand but that 9 link bracelet is just too complicated imo. I would prefer a design along the lines of the one fitted to Planet Oceans, the lack of a taper is no issue for me. I was planning on sourcing a red rubber strap and Omega steel clasp all oem products but at almost $900 including the HST 13% tax, I am smarter to save the dollars for another watch with a bracelet that I like such as a Planet Ocean.

Love the bracelet looks and features, but my wrist can't handle the weight for too long. That's why I usually keep them on an Erika's or the factory rubber strap.

·

When I had my 2531.80 I only wore it on the bracelet because I love the look. However I couldn’t get the right fit and prefer a taper. I think the best solution is the newer version with tool less micro adjust.

I've never taken mine off the bracelet. It's comfortable, easy to adjust on the fly, and has always been secure. And I think it looks great.

I own 2, the seaweed green and the summer blue dials and I love the bracelet. They are beautifully engineered chuncks of steel with great clasps.
