I’ve accumulated 5 JLC pieces since 2004 and they have a premium role in my hodgepodge collection of 100 plus watches. I started with the Master Calendar, then the Grand Reveil, the Reverso Squadra, the 8 Days and finally the Ultra Slim Perpetual Calendar. All silver dials/SS with black belts. Finally got the chance to use the plastic display stands.

Admirable JLC collection! Very, very nice. You don't shy away from a complication or two, do you ;-) ? I like that they are visibly worn, i.e. used as intended. And I wondered: what kind of service interval (if any) do you have on them?

Very,very nice.

Makes one wonder what the other 95 timepieces are.

·

Nice collection, the book's a nice touch too

·

If you don't already own a copy I would recommend this book.

I envy this collection

I’m a fan of JLC. I have two so I’m far behind you. That is a stunning set of watches👌

Thank you! Yes, I do wear them but I am a bit more careful with the Grand Reveil. It’s big and heavy and tends to bang in to the wall etc. OH every 7 to 8 years. 4 of them have been serviced via JLC Japan quite recently, and are in good shape. I have the Ultra Slim waiting for a long awaited service. The only and very important problem being the fees😔. Because of the perpetual calendar mechanism it will be sent to Switzerland.

The 4 are in pretty good shape.

The Ultra Slim is not.

Thank you! You can see them all when I cross the 120 WRUW mark (I’ve introduced 91 separate pieces over 100 posts). As I said, mine is a hodgepodge collection. A result of a lengthy process of unorganized collecting of mechanical/quartz, Japanese/Swiss, relatively expensive/cheap/free etc..

Thank you! The book was a “little gift” from a retailer, weighing about 3 kg .

It’s actually a “Japanese Edition”.

Thank you!! I have a feeling you’ll overtake me sooner or later. Your collection, especially the abundance of old school Omegas etc. is awesome.

Amazing, I love that you decided to get them all with silver dials and black straps. I agree that the book is a very cool addition. I think the Perpetual Calendar is my favorite from the bunch however that Master Calendar does so much, it's so cool. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you!! Yes, SS Case/Silver Dial/Black Belt used to be my obsession. From a previous post, my Men in Black.

Consistent, I like it!

I’m very impressed on how one person can exude so much class through a watch collection.

Effortless elegance is all I see!

Thank you for the so kind compliment! I am afraid you might change your after viewing my hodgepodge collection (will complete introduction as WRUW posts of all individual pieces in two weeks or so).

·

Thank you! The ultra thin perpetual was a special SS edition that I just couldn’t resist.

·

Wow, that's an amazing collection. It certainly oozes class, and quite an achievement by itself. Very admirable indeed!

·

This is a beautiful collection. Some great pieces! Are they all paired with their original straps?

Thank you!! As of today 4 out of 5 are with original straps. My Master Calendar being the oldest acquisition is with its second genuine emu strap, which is near its end. But I can’t use my two spairs because of its thin lug width. The genuine strap of the Reverso Squadra needs repair and I’ve thinking about buying a replacement for a while. The Squadra is so thick it needs a special strap with plastic “spacers” and these spacers are not that durable.
