Photography Sunday

Another Sunday, another photography session. I didn't have that much time today, and I didn't get a lot of photos I liked, unfortunately. With that said, I feel these two turned out well. I'm particularly happy with the Lange shot! The blued hands captured perfectly in the natural light.

I need better lighting sources. Relying on natural light in Norway during the winter doesn't give you a lot to work with, and quite a few shots are hard to set up. Let's see what Christmas brings 🤞 I must say though that what you can achieve with just a phone camera and stuff you have in the house is surprisingly good. I always thought you needed more equipment, but I'm surprised at how good some of these pictures look. Knowledge goes a long way!

Amazing shots, thanks for sharing 👍

First off: great shots (and great watches)!! Easily qualifying for promotional material.

One suggestion though (feel free to ignore :) - In both shots, the lower 1/3 is imho not really adding value to the total picture. For the VC one, it’s quite a dark area, making it difficult to make out the objects there. In the Lange picture (great light on the dial btw) we do see a hand; but hands are notoriously difficult to photograph. And the key element (besides the watch ofc) in this picture would be the car imo - and now the viewer is ‘distracted’ from the great watch and nice car in the background by a hand…

Just my 2 cents, as said: wonderful pics!

Well done!

Two of my absolute favorites, so happy to have these watches. I'll write more about it later at some point, they mean a lot to me.

Thanks! Yeah, with proper lighting the high quality of the Richard Lange really shows. An underrated and incredible part of Lange's lineup, in my opinion.

·

Great shots of great watches. Enjoy those beauties in good health. 👌

I actually think the car fills the dead space nicely.

I disagree with the other commenter about the Lange shot. I think the car in the background on the top adds a layer of depth that otherwise might not be there given that there’s only flat ground at your ground level.

The Richard Lange photographs beautifully with its white dial.

Also I spy a Lange Loupe behind the Vacheron. 🙂
