Photography session: First flecto attempts!

Following @bevelwerks excellent setup-guide, I had to try the flecto shot! This is definitely something I have to read up on. I don't have small sources of light, I rely on two rather large soft boxes. In any case, playing around with the light and angles, I eventually got a couple of shots I was decently happy with. I also tried another flatlay with the Makt Skeleton Rose Gold.

As always, comments and input are much appreciated 🙏

Thank you so much 🙌 It really is about the angles and sources of lighting. Your setup was a great starting point.

It's hard to take bad photos of the VC Overseas, there are so many angles and facets which catch the light in different ways. On top of that, the blue dial 💙

The Makt Skeleton Rose Gold is a watch I received just a few days ago. Small-time Norwegian kickstarter. For $250, I think it's a steal. Punches above its weight class for sure! To me, more than anything it's a way to feel out how a rose gold + black color combination works in my day to day life (which what I like to wear etc). I am considering a second hand strap, I think that would go a long way to elevate the total experience.

Nice job. The shots look professional. You were able to capture the essence of that blue Overseas dial. It is beautiful to see in person. Keep at it...

Nicely done! I’m lucky just to get the watch in focus.

Thank you! I highly recommend following watch photography accounts on Instagram. Watchstudies is one of my favorites!

While I agree it may be difficult to take a bad picture of the overseas it does take skills to produce the quality I see here. Keep them coming. I enjoy seeing them very much. Thanks.
