Started my watch journey on December 2022, since then I’ve got: 1. Bulova Lunar Pilot 96B251 2. Casio AE1200 (Casio Royale) 3. Casio CA53W (Back to th...
I started not long ago, this are some sub $500 “must have” watches (all comes down to what you like at the end of the day):
Orient Bambino - Great dress watch, endless options to choose from, great intro to automatic watches at a VERY affordable price.
Bulova Lunar Pilot - Beautiful watch, has unique history as the other “moonwatch” and can be bought around $500 (45mm version, the 43mm costs around $900).
Casio G-Shock - Any, but i love the look of the Casioak.
Tissot PRX - Beautiful, great quality/price ratio, I think very few (if any) watches at this price point can top this watch in its looks and quality. The Quartz version is around $400, the automatic is around $650 which has a waffled dial and display case back.
The Seiko 5 collection has a lot of great watches below $500, and like some people say “You can never go wrong with Seiko”.
Now this are some great sub $100 watches:
Casio AE1200 (aka CasioRoyale)
Casio MWD-110H (Similar in looks to a G-Shock Square)
Casio F91W is a classic and very affordable.
Casio CA-53W (the calculator watch from Back to the Future)
Thanks for the advise, the PRX was the most recent purchase, now I’m slowing down a bit and thinking hard before my next purchase. As you correctly said, I’ve bougth a lot in a short time, now I’m gonna take it slow and aim a little higher.
