What should be my next watch?

Started my watch journey on December 2022, since then I’ve got:

1. Bulova Lunar Pilot 96B251

2. Casio AE1200 (Casio Royale)

3. Casio CA53W (Back to the Future)

4. Seiko SNA411 (Flightmaster)

5. Dominatore del Mare Patriota Burgundy (Got it from Watchgang)

6. Orient Bambino V2

7. Victorinox I.N.O.X Titanium Blue Rubber Strap

8. Casio MWD-110H

9. Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue

I’m not sure where to go next, I’ve considered:

•Casioak

•Timex Waterbury Chronograph (RGB)

•Seiko King Turtle

•I’d also love a moonphase complication

What do you think?

Should I stick to one of those or do you have something different to suggest?

Thanks in advance!

I’d say you’re doing fine on your own, why solicit the opinions of this rabble?

That said, you’re about to get a ton of votes for a Seiko, that’s just what happens. As I was going to point out your lack of a G Shock, I’ll vote for the Casioak.

As the owner of a Casioak and a King Turtle, I would recommend either. You can’t go wrong with any of your choices, just try them on first and if they fit, you’ll probably own all of them as they’re affordable.

Take a look at the full Orient line before deciding on the Bambino 2. They have a day-night sun and moon watch that's pretty cool the AK00 Version 3. Also check out the Tri-Star series and the one that I have, the Symphony 4 for a dress watch. I actually like it's finishing better than the Bambino. WIth that said, you are doing what I did when I first got started, buying everything all at once. You might consider slowing down to one every couple of months. I've been reducing my collection because I found I was just overwhelmed and wanted to start getting some higher end pieces. Not anything crazy expensive, but a little higher end none-the-less.

If you’re interested in a Moonphase there’s this Averau 39 from Echo/Neutra

Image

It’s the most affordable Moonphase complication that matched that suited all my requirements.

Diameter 39mm

Lug to lug 46mm

Thickness 13.5mm

100m wr with a screw down crown.

It is more expensive than your other choices but I really like it.

As has already been said your choices are all solid and should hit in well with what sounds like a pretty nice collection.

Good luck 👍

Thanks for the advise, the PRX was the most recent purchase, now I’m slowing down a bit and thinking hard before my next purchase. As you correctly said, I’ve bougth a lot in a short time, now I’m gonna take it slow and aim a little higher.

Thanks!

Hello , there are no rules to this madness as long as you don't make yourself broke in the process,

There is a risk however {I have found} buying a couple within a few days kind of takes the shine off appreciating each one individually, I say ease up on the reins a little, get to know what you like or don't like in each watch and what your next watch must have, it's good to hear your slowing down a little and having a think, well done.

Just got the Timex Waterbury Chronograph (RGB). Very nice affordable fun watch.
