He went for the safe, conservative option. And it did work. I'm looking forward to his next, more daring designs.
I already spent around $2000 for watches that will arrive later this year and like another Cruncher said Jody went for a safe design for his first watch. Unless it's something I really like/lust over/love at first sight I'll leave this one to others.

Edit: Looks like mine has shipped but good luck getting exact tracking info from DHL.

If you take the DHL tracking number and go directly to the DHL web site, you can get detailed tracking info. I was able to track mine and see every stop it made from the warehouse in NSW to my house in northern western WA. It arrived today, 5 days earlier than the posted arrival date.

Great question ! Yes, it was 80$. I’m still not sure how I feel about it, but the fact that this is a first run of a nice watch, I think I can look past it.
