Last night's talk went very well, with a great overview of the history of the watch industry followed by really interesting questions from our members.

Pierre-Yves really knew his stuff and had loads of data to back his explanations. I'm looking forward to reading his books

I wasn't too surprised by the graphs, possibly by the fact that Germany seems to export slightly more watches than Switzerland by unit. But yes, the Swiss are deep into the luxury sector. (And I don't think they had any choice.)
