The SNXS Wears Prada

You know the 2006 movie. “The Devil Wears Prada” is all about a very difficult boss, Miranda Priestly, and her assistant, Andy Sachs, amidst the fashion world. Miranda is depicted as the bar-setter for which fashion design will pass, and which will not. She sets the tone for which designs are suitable for the coming months, seasons, and year.

Now what has Miranda Priestly, or the movie, have to do with the SNXS7x line? The key word is “suitable”.

And that's Reason #4. It is Suitably Adaptable. It’s able to dress up or dress down, suitable to the setting, occasion or situation.

It’s vintage design and sensual curves make it so fun to put on various bracelets and straps.

Depending on the setting or occasion I’ll be in, I simply choose the most suitable. And often, I find it hard to pick!

Not all watches can claim this trait. Some can, and will be "forced" to wear a certain strap or bracelet. But, it’ll look a bit off or downright awkward looking. Miranda Priestly will easily give her infamous snide look and puckered lip of disdain.

Others simply can’t wear a vast array of options. Because, design dictates adaptability. This is why my SNXS79 is, and always will be, a permanent resident in my collection.

To my fellow SNXS7x-ers, why not show off your SNXS7x timepiece in its various bracelets and straps? It's Day 4 of the SNXS7x Week! 🍻

Hotness!! 🔥 Thanks for sharing, senyor! 🍻 I'm also getting a similar gray suede leather strap soon. Will wear tomorrow a similar brown leather strap. 😉

I used to buy my generic black dress shoes with thick rubber soles from the Prada boutique on Bloor Street here in Toronto, was assisted by a personable young man who loved watches collected vintage Seikos which he often fitted with colourful nato straps. On one of my occasional trips there I made a casual suggestion that he might cut back on the Seikos if he wanted a more luxurious brand to wear in a boutique where the staff and customers mostly wore Rolex or Cartier. A senior manager was moving back to a Daytona and sold his Bell & Ross watch to my friend. He showed off his watch on my next visit gave me credit for his decision, I am haunted by that event not certain that my advice was worthy. His Seikos were amazing.

Great realization, good sir. 🍻 I'm glad you changed your mind about Seikos. Your friend's vintage Seiko collection is most likely stunning. Here's my vintage 1970 Seiko DX 6106C-8240.

I'd wear this, my SNXS79, and my other 2 Seikos (SNKL41 & SRPB93), in any luxury store, at any time, even if I won't buy anything there. They can stand on their own. 😎

I did not change my mind about Seiko, love the brand since forever, I was reacting to his feelings about what he perceived might be a step up. I mean a fella can wear Rolex and still rock his Seikos. Just an aside note, he left selling shoes is now selling luxury real estate bigger commisions! Haha good for him!
