The moment I saw it, my eyes were glued. It looked familiar, yet spoke its own uniqueness.
Its fresh green color, and vibrant smile simply called to me. There was an indescribable connection.
When I saw a wrist shot, I just knew this was going to be the next member of my humble collection.
Why? Because it was an unassuming yet simple BeautY.
I had eagerly anticipated its arrival. When it did, I was not disappointed.
Infatuation turned into admiration. Admiration turned into amazement. I was awestruck.
Today, after 2 years, my Benyar BY-5185M continues to amaze and captivate me.
While working...
On many a business meetings...
While driving...
On errands...
Even while doing some gardening...
It's been a lovely companion, while reading and writing...
While enjoying some music...
During get togethers with family at home...
Or, while simply enjoying some drinks with friends...
On countless occasions, these past 2 years, it's been with me while simply chillaxing...
Or having breakfast...
While on dates with my lady...
And, while enjoying my daily cup of coffee...
I am a simple man, with simple delights. This one is definitely one of them.
Happy 2nd Birthday to my Benyar BY-5185M!!
Here's to more years together!
*Update: I decided to give this lovely watch to my nephew for Christmas 2023. He was amazed when he opened the box it was in. I trust it will continue to amaze him for many years ahead.

awesome, what movement is it? the rotor is nicely decorated
If your not in marketing, you may not be optimally employed. So much love. So many bands.

Cool decorated rotor, right? That was definitely one of its surprises when it arrived. It's a Seagulll ST-6 movement. Currently running at -10secs/day.

Hahaha, I'm not. I just enjoy telling stories. But, interestingly enough, I have constantly been consulted by many a marketing folk re. their many creative ideas. ;) And, yep, I enjoy putting various bracelets and straps on my timepieces.

Absolutely fantastic watch. The ST-6 is very underrated.
Thanks, bud! Yeah, the ST-6 can stand its own against other higher brand movements in terms of consistent accuracy.
Thanks, my friend. To be fair, 3 shots in the post are from my Canon EOS3000D. ;)

Erratum: I just checked overnight and its running at -5 secs / day ;)
FYI @casiodean
I've had them in 2 watches so far, and although I no longer have those watches, there was never anything wrong with them.
Amazing! I think you slowed the site down with this post๐
