Fully agree with you. I was really interested in this watch but the date placement that is slightly cutting into 6 filed and not matching date wheel were just too much. I would remove the date and it would be flawless skin diver.

I was meaning that this iteration is better than the current 65's they switched to which are pretty boring. Would prefer this without date, but it blends in okay at 6. I love the limited edition 75!

There was a Topper Jewelers Edition Diver’s 65 that deleted the date, moved the “Swiss made” down to the bottom, and I think tweaked the lume pip or something. Came with steel bracelet and rubber strap.
There are a couple of video reviews on it on YouTube if you search.
I own the one in your post, but I wish I had the Topper.
I think this is the best dial divers 65 that’s why I bought one!
Somehow I wasn’t too impressed by the overall ownership experience though. I didn’t find the finishing or my perception of the build quality what I expected it to be. I traded it after a couple of years for an Aquis which I feel is the better overall package.

I still love that dial though.❤️
100% agree, for sure they seem to have left out quality control and finish level for these. The Aquis is a different animal, much higher quality. On mine the bezel has back play and the crown feels well dodgy, but I would never let it go 😎

I agree. In fact I think it's one of the better re-issue divers.
I wonder if it has limited appeal though? It's certainly more divisive than other Sixty-Five.
On another note - the OEM Oris bracelet is 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 too!

My favorite Oris. Wish I got one

Hey you can still buy them, do a google for the reference and some jewellers still have them.
Thanks!
