There are many alternatives if you’re looking for a watch to fly with. But if you’re looking for a classic flieger, there are none better or more authentic than the Laco. It is a very lovely watch.
Why searching an alternative for this beauty. I actualy did not know it exist with a mechanical movement. It makes it even better 👌

The leaf hands are killer
It’s always between Laco and Stowa, and then it just gets down to preference on the details. I personally like the Laco hands much better on these type A’s and also the Type B’s. I hear that Stowa might have them beat in quality/finishing, but I can’t attest to that personally. The subdial on this is awesome.
I think DEKLA are pretty neat and their watches are highly customizable

that looks awesome with the small seconds!! I've always found Type A's to look too "empty," but the small seconds fills the space and adds some nice visual interest
