Have you ever had a watch you were so close to buying but didn’t, but looking back at it you’re glad you didn’t buy it?
For example: I was tempted to drop lots of cash on a Maurice Lacroix Aikon 39, but came to my senses when I realized that it would be too big for me, and I simply didn’t love it to the point where I could justify the price.
Anyone else have close calls?

I'm currently battling in my mind whether to buy the monochrome Tudor Black Bay Heritage METAS...
Jody at JOMW almost made me buy a 1000m diver for 75€ last week. I even ordered it. Then I cancelled it. I DON'T NEED ANOTHER WATCH!
I’d say it was probably the Tudor Pelagos 39 & Tudor Ranger. The P39 titanium just made it feel a bit weightless and dare I say cheap. And the Ranger just bored me to sleep in the AD itself.
Both looked so good on YouTube 😅😅
Yep, I nearly went for this Hublot. However in my heart I knew it wasn't for me. The saleswoman was very persuasive, but I relented. 😉
I was 2 minutes late to buy a Breitling avenger 43mm, but thankfully the store had closed. It was waaay to big, but seemed like the right size at the time. Those 2 minutes saved me a pretty penny 😄

Ah, that operative word, “need”. Like you, I don’t “need” another watch but I WANT another watch. 😂
Actually looks perfect on your wrist
Maurice Lacroix as well but what stopped me was the release of the PRX.
Pretty much every watch when I was 17 that was a fossil or guess brand lol.
Yes. The Tissot PRX
Fun fact. Tissot prx before the plastic movement was known. Pulled the trigger on the aikon and love it. Lucky I didn't went with the prx.
