Dress Watches
Sharing some watches shown to me in Van Cleef and Arpels. These beautiful quartz watches are more jewellery than watches (even for me who loves both) but as they say - "but it's soooo preeettty 😆😄🥰"
The first one is a bracelet watch with guilloche clovers and pink mother of pearl and the other watch is a lapiz lazuli dial in yellow gold.
I did try both but was too scared to take photos (fears of the phone falling on it while I took a picture was real😆).
All in all a nice try on for pretty things and at least I can say I have felt and tried.
That's the weekend ramble for me, off to some homecooked bacon and eggs and peppermint moccha coffee 👌

My guilty pleasure is peppermint mocha (and I spelled it wrong 😄) but yes if Santa's listening I'd love the watch🤣
Very nice! Van cleef has some amazing watches in the lineup. The Alhambras are indeed more in the jewelery category, but the planetariums and zodiaques they do are impressive high horology stuff. Tend to be a bit on the pricey side though :)
The white gold Midnight Planetarium is my favourite (VC called in compatriot Christiaan Van der Klaauw for this one; fun detail: Saturn takes 29 years to complete a revolution around the dial):

I guess no info about prices? Normally everything from them is priced on demand or private appointment 😅 I think those watches would be 65K+ tag. Are they a available on the spot or purchase is Rolex style (waiting list, etc.)?

These were available at that time and I could buy if I wanted to..you can also ask for the price 😉 these are between 8000 to 17000 Swiss Francs. I just honestly don't remember 😉
Ah, maybe because those are quartz. I remember reading about their Balerina collection and like Fairy one. Those were 100-500K if not mistaken.

Women and luxury, such a nice connection! The Mrs prefers finding eateries that not only serve good authentic dishes but also served on crisp white table clothes with gracious service, I am ok with clean and great food. Lately there is a trend here, wealthy immigrants establish businesses where the bottom lines make no sense often to gain legitimate residents, citizens status. Can be a little confusing when the staff wear Cartier watches and in the case of one favourite lunch and dinner spot where one of the servers wear tons of Van Cleef Arpels bracelets and ear studs but she is nice and learning more English beyond brands, lol. She tends to be more attentive to persons wearing brands that she embraces often recommending ideal boutiques in Asia or Europe.
