The price seems about right.
If you’re buying it from a close friend you know it’s authentic and it’s history. If you love it, buy it. Obviously ask your friend for best price. Likewise if you end up paying a bit more than the market, so be it. You’d rather give your money 💴 to a mate rather than some random.
Close friend? $1000 tops.
If it brings you joy AND you can afford to do it, then yes. If $1500 is going to hurt your wallet then no.
