Vostok Komandirskie 650859

This baby just came in. It's stunningly beautiful and I'm so happy I don't have to worry about the date! It came on a bracelet, but I have no intention of using it. This cheap ol' Chinese NATO from Amazon goes pretty well with it, don't you think?

There's only one weird thing: it seems no matter what I do, I cannot back-hack the movement (turning the time backwards until the seconds hand stops, which works on all other non-hacking watches of mine). Is that a problem?

So cool yellow watch. I know yellow is not my first option with watches, but this one is tempting. About the movement I really don't know. If running alright that shouldn't be an issue. Don't think accuracy is outstanding in these movement. Enjoy!

I have my Vostok 120512 regulated to around a second a day in actual wear. It was a pleasant surprise to get it running that well.

Some Vostoks are easier to back-hack than others. My K34 is especially difficult, but once you get the feel for it, it's possible.

Nice choice with the NATO strap. It's a good looking watch. Congrats on the purchase.

Yes, still owning it and liking it! Don't see any reason to ever get rid of it 😄
