Do it!  It's awesome!  Seiko make some amazing watches!  And, of course, you only live once, so why not?

Shop around and you can probably find one for a bit less. I got mine for around $600. The Japanese online shops often have them on sale. Sakura seems to have them for $532 right now (plus whatever import fees).

what about the ocw-t200s03ajf

or the SRPE45J1

I love my spb121.  I changed the strap though and currently looking for a nato strap option.

I love the color and brings happiness every time I wear it.

Don’t do it - the post above yours in my feed is a Seikophile finally admitting he’s had enough of increased prices and  poor QC.

You said so yourself, it’s double the price for the same watch - walk away and buy something nicer from a microbrand or something.

Sold my SARB017 for $350 back in the day, re bought at 650 this year. I don't regret it 😉. There's something magic about this watch, I just didn't know it then

I was going to say if you sold it then bought it back it can’t be that magical… but as the song goes: you don’t know what you got till it’s gone.
