Traveling to Germany: Recommend Watch Spots

Hey crunchers, I'm traveling to Frankfurt, Cologne and Bonn in Germany some time in April, was wondering if there any watch dealers/shops/flea market or any exclusive microbrands that I can only try out in Germany that I should check out? I'm open to any sort of recommendation as long as there are watches involved, especially those from Germany! I've been bitten by the German watch bug 🪲

Juwelier Wempe in Cologne is worth walking by, lots of high-end stuff.

The Omega boutique, Time Square, on the Bahnhofsvorplatz, was completely useless.

Sorry but wrong end of Germany… watches are coming from the east. You are in the west. The only bigger western brand is Sinn, which is located in Frankfurt aM. They should have flagship store there, I don’t know if they do factory tours. Additionally, it is the wrong time. There is a German watch fair, watchtime Düsseldorf, close to Cologne. But it is in fall.

Bonn and Cologne has nothing special to offer in general about watches. Frankfurt has a few boutiques of the bigger brand you don’t find in every city like a Seiko, AP, VC, Lange, and JLC boutique.

The cities you have chosen have a lot to explore but not about watches sadly…

Enjoy!

Also High Enders can be seen in Frankfurt at Christ in the Mall called 'Zeil' (customers of ours). To be honest personally i prefer independent jewelers/ watchmakers, but i do not know such in stated citys

Thanks for this! I am aware east Germany is where watchmaking is at, it's unfortunate that I will not be there. I guess I'll make a trip there if I can fit it into my schedule. Also thanks for the watch fair info!
