I think it depends on if you want to keep or sell in the long run. I love this model and has bought new a coupe of years ago, been wearing it often!
It depends on how much you will save, if the saving is a lot go used if it's not much then buy new. It's also worth noting that you may not actually be able to find it used.
Found one in Malaysia for equivalent to $1611.34 USD
With Longines I often finding that patience can pay off. Often things are getting discounted down the line, then you get the best of both worlds.
Used on eBay or brand new on grey market. Definitely wouldn’t pay over 2k. But I would definitely get that watch. In my opinion the sector dial is one of the few truly perfect watches right now at any price point so to get it for 2k or less is insane for a watch that good and good looking. On my short list to buy soon for sure.
I prefer new at discount with full warranty intact. And possibly a strap thrown in.
