My most recent book is this awesome book about watch dials their history and construction etc. Probably my favourite watch book.

It was written by a PhD and reads that way. More like a research paper.
It is a bit technical, but still very interesting reading.

I think the book's title is quite explanatory :)
Spoiler alert: it's clocks, the lone genius did it with clocks.
