Trying to help a friend with a dial on his watch that moves

I was hoping to get some help with this. Trying to be a good samaritan and help a friend of mine with his Seiko field watch. Movement is in good working order however whoever worked on that before broke the dial feet and now it spins as you can see from the video. How can I fix this for my friend without getting too deep into this? Please take a look at the video.  Thank you!

Honestly, the person I would ask here is @Gasworks. He seems to have a real knack for restorations, especially Seiko.

Speaking from no experience, either get another dial or experiment with double sided tape or minute dabs of blue tack.

Thank you @Candide3693

If you want to do it properly you'll need to attach new dial feet like so...

Using the correct tool...

And araldite to glue the new feet securely in place. So something like this....

ends up like this....

Alternatively, a new dial would be cheaper than the tools required to fix the old dial... just make sure the dial feet are compatible.

Happy to help if required

A couple of daps of super glue will sort it out I’ve done it previously once but don’t tell anyone
