At least the Northport is less than 13mm thick. 😀 12.5mm is pretty thin for an Islander dive watch. Can't wait to get mine!

I do like the aesthetics of a negative display, but I find them harder to read as I get older. They are also more difficult to read in bright light unless I am looking directly down at the face.

I am pretty sure an Islander with a Swiss GMT movement will be close in price to the Lorier Hyperion. This will easily be the most expensive Islander. My guess is that it will be somewhere between $600-$700.

I am also guessing that the chronograph will use the Ameriquartz chronograph movement.

Very exciting! I may have to forgo getting another GMT until this one premieres. I was considering the new Seiko 5 GMT, but I would much rather wait to see what Marc, or more probably Ryan 😀, comes up with. Still waiting to hear about a chronograph.
