His/Her Watches (WTS) SOLD!
How many people have successfully enticed…I mean, encouraged their significant other to join them in their watch obsession…I mean, hobby? I count myself among the fortunate as my partner tolerates my hobby, and recently, even started wearing watches herself! Pictured below are our matching seamasters.
Also, I WTS the pair of Victorinox Swiss Army watches pictured at the top of the post. 40mm and 30mm. Auto and Quartz. Inner-rotating Countdown Bezel and a simple 3-hander. But they match. my wife happily doesn't want to wear my watches / can't as my wrists are rather large and wouldn't fit her... I can't even get the band of her SA officers watch over my hand...
But do note that her watch looks like she wore it through a tour of Afghanistan or something? She is tough on equipment... not sure why but if you want something wabi-sabi give it to my wife for a couple months and it will have "patina" / wabi-sabi.
she has this VSA and a vintage bulova I bought her (which happily isn't all banged up so far) and a couple other watches.. but mostly she wears a fitness tracker most of the time.
Love it!!! The mutual enjoyment of the watches is what matters. Incidentally, my wife was ΝΟΤ a fan of the Swiss Army ones I am thus selling… 🙄
No interest in watch collecting from her, but I recently bought us a pair of Cartier Tanks. I haven’t presented them yet, so I don’t even know how this will go over, but I think she’ll like the classic look.
