My poor Neptune decided to stop today. 😢

No amount of winding or shaking seems to do any good. I tried spinning the hands and changing dates, but she just won’t wake up. I wear this watch every day and never take it off. It did manage to move about 5 seconds at one point then halted.

I reached out to Lorier’s info email address for support.

Anyone know what I should expect to deal with or have any additional troubleshooting suggestions?

Just a guess, it may be a small screw has backed out and is lodged in a gear.

Thanks! I will probably rely on the warranty for this one, since it’s only a month old. I do plan to part together a NH35 build one day soon though!

Probably something caught in the gear train, tiny screw or something. Lorier has spectacular customer service, so hopefully they can help you out, good luck!

My beloved Alpinist developed a fault where it would stop randomly when worn or not!

It isn’t under guarantee so I’ve just paid and sent him off for a service, I’m already missing him 😉🤣😂

Sorry to hear about that... Some TLC will sort that out. I am having similar issues with my Sinn 😓.

That is tough luck. And that happened after just a month?!? If you got it direct through them it's definitely covered by the warranty. Best of luck!

I had the same thing happen to my serica field watch which had some fossil stp manual movement inside. I assumed the winding mechanism had disengaged with the rest of the movement.

Anyways Serica took care of me, and repaired it under warranty. Hopefully Lorier will do the same.

This happens with mechanical watches. While we don’t expect it, it’s just part of life when we are using mechanical objects. New or old, these things happen as nothing is perfect. I’m sure Lorier will handle it. Sorry this happened to you. 🙁

I have personally talked to and dealt with the owners wife. They are an amazing husband and wife company. She answered my email within 30min. She then personally called me and took care of the issue. I can’t sing their praises enough. They have a customer for life with me. Plus they have beautiful watches and that mixed with outstanding customer service is a recipe for perfection
