Watch cleaning recommendations

Any suggestions for a nice watch cleaning kit with the soft brushes etc.?

I use an extra soft tooth brush and dish soap (Dawn). The nice thing about Dawn is it doesn’t leave any residue. It’s very gentle but also effective. If it’s good enough for baby ducks in an oil spill, probably good enough for a watch.

AIS ChronoPen. They make a kit for cleaning leather straps & watch cases and metal bracelets. It comes with a drying cloth and you can even order microfiber clothes to help dry your watch. I use them almost daily. (My OCD requires me wash a watch if any fingerprints or smudges get on it.) 🙈

I do the same.

For my bracelets, I bought a small ultrasonic cleaner for like $40 on Amazon. Throw em in once every couple or three months. I can use the cleaner for other things too such as the wifey's jewelry.

I also use dawn dish soap and a baby toothbrush. They are ultra soft, and leave the watch clean. As for drying, I use an old hairdryer that no longer blows hot air, just cold. Works great.

I rinse under a water source, wipe down with my microfiber A, air dry, then wipe down with microfiber B.

For straps, I put them in a sock or zip pocket on pants, and put them in the clothes washer, air dry.

@ThirdWatch and @UnholiestJedi are correct though. If needed Dawn is 👌🏻. Just the basic blue.

For reference, for work, I've used it to clean sensitive rubber sealed equipment like gas masks, bomb suits, helmets, etc. Great stuff.
