My First Auto Chrono
I’m trying to figure out my first one or set of automatic chronograph(s). I’m thinking of the new Seiko Prospex SRQ049 or the Sinn 356 Acrylic, acompanied by a Doka C Graph II to have a classic style chronograph and a dive style. If I were to buy one, it would be between a reverse panda Tag Heuer Glassbox or an Omega Speedmaster. Reallg conflicted on what to do. I’ve tried the Glassbox, Speedmaster, and Doxa on in person but haven’t tried the Seiko and there’s nowhere to try the Sinn on in person around me.

I love those but I own a Lorier Gemini Racer which is a very similar style with the very vintage look.
I can’t beat the Sinn I ’be had my eye on that for a while as well, but for a dive style automatic chronograph, I really like my Norqain Adventure Sport Chrono Day/Date.
I was able to get it cheaper than the Doxa and it may only have 100m wr unlike Doxa’s 200, but it’s got more wearable dimensions.

I like the sizing on paper of the Norqain but don’t like the dial texture. To me, it makes it to busy along with the subdials.

Little to expensive😅😅 The most I’ll spend altogether is $6k.

If I were you I’d consider a hanhart pioneer 417. You won’t be disappointed.

The Hanhart can only measure 30 mins. Even the red dot on the bezel can track more 😀. Would never pay chronograph money for a watch that can´t even track more than an hour.

Very cool styling. Love the numbered dial. The strap design along with the contrast stitching looks really cool too.
