Bronze watches

I don’t know about you guys, but I do like bronze watches. The nice warm color of the bronze alloy, the peace of mind of wearing it without caring about scratches because it looks better with some scars over, and of course the patina which is unpredictable and that’s kinda cool. This is mine San Martin SN030, I choose a relatively inexpensive watch as my first bronze watch so I can find out if I like it without having to spend a lot of money on an experiment. And the conclusion is that I like it a lot, I just don’t understand why it’s sometimes more expensive than the stainless still version of the same watch, is it more expensive to produce those bronze alloys or its just a marketing move? I also invite you to share your experiences with bronze watches!

Yep I fancy a bronze watch. Probably a Hamilton khaki bronze or Christopher Ward Sandhurst.

I like bronze and really enjoy the look of the natural patina, as opposed to some of those forced patinas where the watch ends up looking like something from "The Toxic Avenger". And none of mine smell.

I hate metals that change colors.  I want the case of a ten year old watch to shine like the day I bought it.

I got the B dial version of this watch. Bought it as a budget way to experience the material but now I think I found the perfect everyday wearer. Comfortable, fantastic lume and decent water resistance, one that I'm not afraid to put a few dings and scratches on it.
