Played around with an Art Deco inspired design. A see-through “bezel” is a really weird and quirky addition which I think looks neat on the sector dial. Made sure you can see the crown stem coming through at the 3o’clock.
I may post the rest of my Design Journals like this from now on. Long form design-based posts is kind of exhausting when there’s not much feedback coming through, but it is what it is. :P hope you enjoy this watch, though! Tell me what ya think, good or bad.

Wait, is this incorporating the shorty second hand like on that Rosebusch watch whose name I forget?
Crown is the knob, stem is the shaft. There are enough giant watches with big white plastic spacers holding the movement to make me think this is very viable.

Yeah! I don’t understand why more companies incorporate this feature like the Rosenbusch Quest does.
I'd have to see a wristwatch in the metal on the flesh to be sure, but I'm not sure I like my wrist being part of the visual design.
I think the open space on the outside works in that pocket watch, though.
Double tracks? Just curious but what are you imagining the size of this dial to be?
