The Seiko Epson coronation pieces are a staple of my watch collecting journey, here are the pieces I'm currently hoarding, these are as follows:
From the sixties, the GS 6146-8000 high beat.
A quartz-run Credor, can't say when it was made.
A 2010 GS sbgr053 automatic watch with a 72 hour power reserve, 9S65 mouvement.
The contemporary, GMT Sbgn005 quartz-run.
The next in line might be or should be a spring drive.

Looks good man. What are your thoughts on the SBGN005? Obviously you must like it, just wondering if you have any particular thoughts on your experience with it. It’s a watch I’ve been looking at for some time now.

It’s also been on my radar.
If you get a close up of the caseback of the Credor I can tell you when it was made

Thanks mate honestly I just love that watch it's my Gada, the design, the size, the functionalities, I wrote a review a few months ago, https://www.watchcrunch.com/danmerry/posts/grand-seiko-sbgn005-review-2-187477

Thanks I appreciate it!

oh huh, there’s no serial number on the back. For these watches the serial number will tell you the year and month it was manufactured. I wonder if this was repaired in a past life and Seiko replaced the caseback

There is nothing inside either, but model number 7771-5040 is there. The first four of the string denote the movement reference.
