Grand seiko 6146-8000 day date from 1969
This is the latest addition to the collection, a grand seiko 6146-8000 day date. Snatched it from Japan, I really the champagne turned saumon dial, the case is just gorgeous with those sharp and brutal angles. The mouvement beats at 36000 with a shockingly 8 seconds accuracy, the second hand glides its way around the clock in what can easily be described as the buttery smooth manner. The breadth and depth of this brand will never ceased to amaze me, I'm glad these models remain affordable I hope they carry on being so for the foreseeable future though for now I will gladly enjoy this piece whose proportions are right down my alley at 37 mm.
