I am planning to assemble a watch this year. I have a Seiko NH36 movement salvaged from an Invicta Pro Diver. The Invicta case and bezel were damaged but the movement is ok so I want to repurpose it.
I have found plenty of parts resources from multiple places. I found a dial I love that is 28.5 mm but it doesn't have minute markers. I would want to add a chapter ring for the minute marks. What I can't seem to find out is when I order a case it gives a dial size range. Do I need to get a case that accepts larger dials to have room for a chapter ring? These are the questions I am running into that I can't seem to find the answers.
Does anyone know of any resources, books or online resources to help? Thanks.

My experience is I’ll buy the case first and make sure the case has room for the chapter ring and measure it myself… or buy a case that has it already… also search in YouTube as well…
Pretty much search the movement on Aliexpress and a large list of parts will appear
Check put NamokiMods. They are a Seiko modding shop. They stock NH36 movements and watch parts and should have stuff to fit your needs.
