There’s a reason why I’m on wife no 3….
Right, at the end of 2023, I was asked and agreed to not buy so many watches(about one a month as a rule last year…). This agreement was with my lovely beautiful wife. Or as I call her, my current wife (🥴🥴). In 2024 so far, I’ve bought these…. So in the spirit of helping a fellow watch lover, show me what you’ve purchased, whether against a promise not to, or because you can, so far this year. See it as potentially saving a marriage if you must 😂😂😂

I must admit I had a Starter Marriage that was expensive. My isn't inexpensive = it only costs 100% more to go first class. I could never afford 3 and a watch collection. You are THE MAN! I say keep up the great work! I do love your 2024 purchases BTW.

Years I have bought 3 Rolex, a omega, and a Panerai. I am actually going to not buy a watch for about s decade and instead focus on a house like s normal adult

It is a big boy that’s for sure, but as you rightly say, what a watch it is. In reality it’s all I need from a watch but that’s not how this goes is it 😂😂😂if you could have anything, what would you choose?

So I'm maybe waiting for Casio or Citizen to come up with something.

That’s the new mud master isn’t it… it’s a brut of a watch, one thing that may help is that I’m pretty sure it’s a bit smaller, we are talking maybe 1 or 2mm smaller case wise than the older version… I was lucky in that I found the earlier model at half price so only about £370 which I thought was reasonable enough. I see what you mean with the digital element of that citizen, I should really delve into citizen as they are doing some great watches currently. For some reason, I just haven’t found the right watch of theirs for me yet, won’t stop me looking! 😂😂

Yeah Citizen have nice stuff. But sometimes the designs are too crazy for me.

That’s one I haven’t seen before! They probably don’t get the respect they deserve, and I think it’s for the reason you’ve just stated, they have some truly tacky watches amongst some brilliant ones. I really liked the ecozilla in yellow.

I like those! I was circling round the bolder gmt odyssey for ages in December, but they didn’t have the one I wanted in stock. They are meant to be a great brand aren’t they. Love the dial on that scurfa, how legible is that!! Great watches mate
I can't give you marriage advice but this is the watch I purchased this year and as a result of recent circumstances I don't see myself needing a dress watch anymore so that's saved me some money.
