Opinions please.

The Seiko SPB147j has caught my eye with it’s dark coffee dial and gilt hands/ applied indices! Let me know what y’all think.

Thanks!

I'm not big on dive watch aesthetics. I have my Duro for when I'm actually going swimming, and otherwise I stick to other styles.

But this one is a real darling. The colours are muted without being anonymous - quite the contrary as it has it's own personality with those colours.

Got one - or rather had one until my Mrs nicked it - beautiful watch, very tough and versatile too. Its satiated Mrs desire for a Black Bay so saved a fortune in the long term.

Not hugely accurate (but within tolerance and more than acceptable) but she's had it over a year and wears it for all housework and gardening and thanks to Seiko's brilliant diashield coating it still looks immaculate.

Very highly recommended, brilliant watch 😍💪🏼👍👍

Thanks for the input and I 100% agree, subtle but not boring.

I think I completely understand why you are thinking about this watch Christopher. My one reservation is the color in the date but that’s only nit picking at that point. I say go for it if it will add value to your collection. 👍🏾

If you pay it 800$ is a goob watch 😬

This is sick. Do it.

Get it! Very versatile watch and a strap monster. Can go with me wherever I choose to. Read it was discontinued coz it was taking sales away from its more expensive SPB iterations since it was cheaper coming on a rubber strap. The only iteration with gold-colored hands and indeces. I love mine dearly! 🥰

Wow! I haven't seen this before. I am definitely a diver fan and after living with my DressKX kinda looking for a Seiko diver. This is now ony short list to keep an eye on. Thx for the post!

For sure! Check out Chrono24 as they have quite a few at the $700-$800 range new from well rated Japanese dealers with low shipping fees and 14 day return policy. If you get one let me know! 🤙🏼
