Surf time 🤙🏼

I can’t seem to really bond with a new watch until I get a surf in with it! Do y’all have a specific bonding ritual with your new watches?

Yea, usually I need to get a strap or bracelet with a new watch to make it feel attached to me. Or maybe mod something on the watch to make it feel perfect. I know that sounds strange but most of my watches are on the affordable obtainable pieces that can use a slight tweak or sometimes major surgery. But that would change dramatically for a luxury piece.

I'm the same. 99% of my watches never get worn with the OEM strap/bracelet.

Yea sneaking it past my wife for 2 weeks until she asks what’s that? Then after a brief argument I know I can keep it 😜

The struggle is real!😂😂

For divers, I take them diving. With tactical watches, I'll rub dirt into the crystal when I take them to the field.

New strap. Personalise it to make it mine.
