Year/Price estimate on this new old stock Wyler Dynawind?

Picked this up years ago at a retiring watchsmith shop. He estimated it had been hidden in the back of a cabinet behind old papers since the late 60's. It was new in the box at the time and he offered it at $50. Haven't found the same style so wondering if it's late sixties early seventies and how to tell. I added it to my collection insurance value as $100 but sadly I don't think I'd ever find a replacement and I love this design. Any wyler experts here?

I've seen some Wyler Vetta on Chrono24, not sure if they're a related brand. Good place to research.

Wyler and Vetta have a very complicated relationship. Binda, who made Vetta, and was in partnership for distribution and manufacturing with Wyler ultimately bought Wyler.  A few years ago they killed off the Wyler name which they had rebranded as Wyler Geneve.

I think that Wyler is in kind of a no man's land when it comes to old Swiss brands. They marketed themselves as tough and reliable, not elegant and refined. As a brand they peaked in the 1950's. I am not even sure that the poorly named "Quartz Crisis" did them in. It may have been the apathy of the buying public.  The relationship with the Italian company may have prevented any other Swiss manufacturers from wanting to buy them. So, they didn't get to be part of Swatch or Richemont.

That looks to be an early 1970's model. It has its own charm. I don't know how valuable Wyler models ever get.  I have one and if I can afford it then....

I see prices all over the place in decent condition from $250 to $800 which means this watches worth is likely in the hands of the beholder and not based on any kind of market.

It's a great piece, keeps excellent time, no issues in hundreds of wears, probably would have been worth the higher asking price if I kept it mint NOS but I wear my watches and drive my cars, museums are for the boring.

A nice watch, just had a look on flea Bay and I would triple the insurance on it,ok its not worth thousands but definitely worth more than $100 like craven said above prices are all over the place, but its a nice piece and NOS so worth a bit of money.
