Panerai ?

Has the Panerai watch become less desirable ? From left to right a 305 ti sub,a 233 Gmt dot and a 346 luminor.

I agree. They are not a watch for everyone but for those who can pull off the larger sizes they can be show stoppers. Hard to not see them on a wrist. I鈥檓 lucky I guess they fit and tell time well

I purchased a classic PAM111 a few years ago. Still love it. Not too fond of the newer models. When I do wear it, it gets noticed more than most of my watches.

Well, I love Panerai, for me it was a grail brand since the mid-90s, on my birthday in 2020 I bought a PAM 1088 GMT and I use it regularly, in Mexico there are many who like Panerai but it has also been losing popularity and they identify them as Stalone's watch, I think that some bad practices of the brand have a lot to do with the loss of faithful to Panerai

I love Panerai. Just wish they made a 39mm.

I actually believe Pams are making a determined comeback, with certain enthusiasts who have grown fatigued with the recent trends advocating smaller case sizes. I own a Luminor Marina and a basic Submersible, looking for a Cal dial Radiomir if I can put the nickels and dimes together. It is a divisive watch, definitely not for everyone even if they have the wrist size to carry them off. And yet I have seen confident ladies who rock a 44mm Pam. I imagine it really is a watch for the owner who loves the look or the history or just wants to step away from the crowd.

I think you are correct. It鈥檚 actually not bad wearing a non hype watch. Again not for everyone but if you are able they make some excellent pieces. Not as crazy for the new models but what bad can you say about a movement that is hand wound and goes for 8 days . I鈥檒l always enjoy the 233 and the 346.

Hope you find the Cal dial Radiomir. Good luck with the search

They do both the luminor and Radiomir in 40mm absolute sweet spot

If you say you are a dive watch enthusiast and don鈥檛 know the history of Panerai then you don鈥檛 know dive watches. They are the OG, particularly the Radiomir. The Luminor Marina is my absolute all time watch, I now have the Quaranta and at 40mm Panerai have nailed it. But I love my 45mm Radiomir. As a former combat diver the history of Panerai resonates with me and is part of the package for why I love the watches. As for the haters, who gives a fcuk. I can鈥檛 stand Rolex as a brand but I won鈥檛 slate them. Each to their own. And when I walk into a room full of generic carbon copy same formula watches, the Panerai just goes 馃挜馃挜馃挜

The simplicity of this piece is stunning. Panerai are quietly nailing it.
