The drought is over! Bulova Mini Lunar Pilot 96K111

So, I've often mentioned that I haven't been looking to add to my collection of 8 watches, and that's true. I've been really happy with my lot for some time now. One watch that did hang around as a bit of an outlier, however, was the Bulova Mini Lunar Pilot 96K111, as I'd previously owned the 45mm Lunar Pilot in black and thought if I could ever snag the new, smaller model in the historically accurate stainless version, for a good price, I would.

In Australia, it's stubbornly sat around $1200 since release... until this past week. Folks, one of my favourite watch stores put the black dial version up for $549 which is USD$350 and, at that price, I pulled the trigger. Drought over! How could I say no to that price?!

Agree! I actually sat on it for a day and was then like, "Who the hell am I kidding?" LOL.

You are far more patient than me at that price 😂.

Yep, that sounds right because, at the current exchange rate, that's basically $1200 Aussie - which is where they've sat here since their release. This sale gives you a peek, however, into how low they'll go - on the black dial at least. I think the blue & white dial is selling well enough to not be discounted. So about £250 might be in your future. Keep an eye on stockists who do good sales, and have access to Bulova.
