I regularly go visit my favorite neighbor and master of guilloche to talk watches, mostly until late. It is one of the perks of being born and raised in Pforzheim, one of the two German watch cities.
After some glasses of wine, I bet him that many would recognize him simply from a photo, even outside of Germany. So, please don't let me down and prove that he is more known than he thinks.
Who is the watch and dial artist on the left?
Since 1955, we have been producing high-quality mechanical tool watches in Pforzheim, one of Germany’s oldest horological centers. We use time-tested watchmaking techniques and quality materials to ma...

I know.
Just keep him away from the rose engine until he sobers up!
Looks like it's a drinking team with a time problem.

That was fast. Let's see if there are some more.
Maybe he only did some skeletonizing today 😜

We should have probably put away those bottles in the back. But in our defense, none of those bottles were full when we started.

No need...as long as you're drinkin "the good stuff"
Helmut Moser?
I will admit that I do not recognize him, but that's only because I am a newbie in the hobby of watch collecting, and I am still in the process of gathering data, and learning all that I can.
Having said that, I will hazard a guess that he works for STOWA? And I was going to guess that he was Jörg Schauer, until I found a picture of him, and saw that he was bald (and your friend is not.) .... So could you give me a hint? I am a good researcher, LOL. 🤣 I'd bet I could figure it out. 😎
I have to admit that I didn't recognize him, so I did some digging. His initials are JB right?
Hmmm...🤔.... First glance a very striking resemblance to Brad Pitt .... BUt 2nd guess is Daniel Brühl.
I don't think "Fake it til you make it " is gonna' pull it off here .
Many years i have been a fan of mr benzinger 🙂 can you share more photos of the two watches?

Now that you mention it, he looks like the German Brad Pitt haha. I'll tell him next time.

100 points!
I can share a photo of the one I am wearing, the Circula SuperSport in black, our real super compressor. I'll tell him to post his here as well.
Ok, got it. Even though I didn't know who he was at first, it was easy to find out. His watch lines look AMAZING! 😍 So clean and elegant! Cheers! 🍻
Helmut Moser?
I guess he lives in Switzerland, right?

It was all very good stuff from around here
That is some impressive research work!
😄Thanks!
Not sure who he is, but looks like an older Version of Draco Malfoy
Hi guys - Thank you for the warm welcome!
Now that I know that there are several copies of me running around - under a false name, obiously! - I would like to reveal the secret of my identity and introduce myself to this community...
To those of you who brought "JB" the game - congratulations, you are right! For all others, maybe a glimpse on the watch I'm wearing will help.
Thanks, Cornelius, for outing me not only as a passionate watchmaker but also as lover of fine things, no matter what kind!
In love with mine, and forever grateful he makes a more affordable line!

Welcome to WC! Always nice to have some excellent watchmakers in our group of enthusiasts.👍
Welcome! Your watches are amazing
Wow! I’ve seen your watches on Watchbuys. Beautiful watches though a bit out of my price range.

I have never seen this model before. Remind me of the chronoswiss delphis i love but havent been able to own one. The back must be equally impressive with your guilloche decoration. I often admire your work for other companies as well (breguet, chronoswiss,…). Welcome to the forum!

Thanks! Did you see that we also have a second line called "Jaeger & Benzinger"? Ask street.credor... 😊

Thanks for your kind words! The watch I'm wearing is my alltime favourite "Zeitsprung", a jumping hour model. We had only a few movements to build new watches with - and they were all gone in a second! Since them, we're trying to catch up with something similiar, but that takes time... I'll let you know when the time comes!

Very nice and happy to see you as a young person can get to learn and carry on the traditional watch making. I know you are focusing on the more sporty watches now but i look forward to a collab between you and our master watch maker!

Hi jochen,
Do you collect or admire any other watch makers or brands?
