SOTC and What's Next?

I've been in this hobby for over 2 years and have enjoyed the journey I've been on. My first ever watch was a G Shock Gulfman gifted to me by my mother when I was in 8th grade. I wore that every day until I got an Apple watch in college which was my daily wear. When I joined the military I got a Garmin Fenix for its capabilities, but I got sick of tired of all the notifications and connectivity that came with modern wearable technology so started wearing a G Shock DW5600. My wife gifted me a Seiko 5 for one of my birthdays and that's when the watch bug bit me.

I've added a couple of more watches since then, but now I'm contemplating about what's next. The Hamilton Murph 38 and Rolex Sub dominate my wrist time now and my next purchase will have to compete with these two for wrist time. I have always loved Grand Seiko and am thinking of adding the White Birch Spring Drive SLGA009 next and then some kind of dress watch or GMT down the line.

What do you all think I should add next and how should I think about what piece I add next?

Based on your comment of a GMT, the color pallet of your current collection, and a price range between the Murph and the Sub, my suggestion would be the Longines Spirit Zulu Time 39 in black with blue accents (ref L3.812.4.53.6).

Big fan of the collection you've got!

I would chop the Seiko and get a Christopher Ward Dune or Farer GMT, something with some color so its not all black watches

Get an auto chrono? Since you have the moonswatch, a pilot could be an option.

You can keep the Casio theme going and add an AE1200WH

The Seiko White Birch is a good idea. You got two spots in the box so get that and something with a colorful face. You’re probably not ready for something too bright - maybe blue or green. That can lead to a new box full of color.

The GS is a great idea, love the white birch
