I want this new Grand Seiko dress watch so bad, like sell my soul to Satan bad. It checks every single box I had for my next GS: a variant of the the Hi-Beat 80-hour movement, manual wind, Brilliant Hard Titanium case, Evolution 9 style, and of course a freaking gorgeous dial. I'm so in love with this watch. Thankfully it's not limited edition, so hopefully it'll be around long enough for me to come up with the money.

This is a beautiful watch. But I would say if you can wait, give it a year, and you will probably be able to get it on the second hand market at a significant discount. Then again if you have the funds, treat yourself.

I'm not a big fan of used things, watches included, but I'm sure it'll be more than a year before I can buy a $10,000 watch, anyway.

Also hoping and praying for some combo of the color changing red dial (from new Tokyo Lion) with this movement and case. Crazy me.

Love what GS released at W&W. I'm in Tokyo in July - high probability I'll crack and get something on that trip 😉
