Boy does it feel like Christmas morning!!…. New pages for me! Too bad they’re not illustrated that much!… with book #1 halfway through, more food for thought arrived today! Self patting on my own shoulder! 🤣
The longitude issue left me scratching my head since I visited the Greenwich observatory. Hope it doesn’t get way too technical on terms and concepts though!
I've been listening to this audiobook, and at 80% of the way through, I've really enjoyed it. History of timekeeping, watch making, watch industry, and a bit of the impact of timekeeping on culture and society.

I will, I will! So far, I’m into “the cartiers”, lots of personal details that influenced their early company choices. Very much recommended

Doh!!… anyway I’ll watch it after I’m done reading, or do you think watching it won’t spoil the book?? 😥

I haven't watched it yet; I just have it bookmarked. But now I want to read the book first!

I also immediately put it on my list!! ✌🏻
I really enjoyed the Longitude book. If you get a chance to see the TV series (Michael Gambon, Jeremy Irons) it's not to be missed.

About Time by David Rooney was fantastic, read it a few years ago!
I've read them both and they are fascinating reads. Enjoy!
I read Longitude last year. It’s a great read! Very interesting story, especially because it’s true.
