I do not hate it, it’s not a deal breaker if I love the watch otherwise but if I’m at all on the fence then that’s enough for me to pass. What I really can’t stand is when GO puts the date window at four o’clock thus covering up one of their gorgeous numerals. The numbers alone sell me on that watch. 🌈
I've never owned a watch with it, so maybe that's saying something. If it's slight, I can get over it, but if I have to know what the number is to read the sliver of it that's left, just get rid of the whole thing. There are some busy analog gshocks with chopped off numerals that I still like, but g shock dial designs are a whole different vibe.

It really depends on the overall design. Some bother me, some don’t.
cropped numbers Mmm 🤔
Agree with @gbelleh; totally depends on the overall design. Some definitely stand out more than others.
Today's word is truncated

Drives me up the wall!
Here’s looking at you IWC!
REALLY dislike cropped numbers. To me, it’s sloppy design and I won’t buy the watch.
Even my 25 year old fashion watch knows better: just leave out the numerals if you want to squeeze in subdials!
Totally agree.
I wanted the 42mm Longines Spirit but couldn’t get past the sawn off ‘3’.
Went for the 40mm instead.
Wont buy a watch with them.
i could get past that one probably, i don't think it's as interrupting

Yet it's the most interrupting I've seen - the 12 is gone, a chunk missing from 1 and 11, and the 24 is pushed out of round.

i think the dial is busy enough for the date window to unify everything together (to me at least)
