Not Another SOTC Post

I've reached my final rotation, a baker's dozen of the finest and most unoriginal homages with stainless steel bracelets (apart from one which I temporarily have on rubber) that truly reflect my lack of individuality and personality.

Among them I have way too many NH35A automatics, and several more grab-and-go quartz pieces which look almost exactly the same.

Obviously I still have hundreds (I wish I was joking) of other watches which I will be sifting over the next month into only 20 which I actually like. Among them will be Sekonda, Vostok, Swatch, and maybe even a Casio and a Skmei.

I'll also keep another 20 box of novelty, nostalgic, and sentimental gift watches which are pretty much worthless but I need to keep for the sake of my own sanity.

For now, however, I won't be buying any more watches for a few months. I have enough to be getting on with, and to be honest, my heart really isn't in it anymore.

Cheers! I'm looking to recase and resell some watches.

And I love the pieces in this picture!

Nice. I'm hoping to drastically reduce my collection, and only plan to pick up a few new watches in 2024. Getting it down to 40 would be a good goal. We'll see how it goes. Every time I plan to get watches ready to sell, I usually end up deciding I still like them.

I think watches can be like your favourite food, you love it and eat it all the time (with me was tuna butties) until one day you can't stand another one. But I am now back on occasional tuna butties. Very nice collection anyway.

Greggs Tuna Crunch FTW!

But I think you know, I love my paddling pool in the Summer, and it only makes sense that nearly all my watches would be divers.

All my plastic ones are for metal detecting (for obvious reasons), and because it's easier to wash all the dirt and mud off them than it is to get it out of all the bracelets.

I had to go look that one up, I am off to Greggs with haste !
