You wear it on your wrist and it tells time. The fact that it has other features doesn't disqualify it from being a "watch". If it were then half of the G-shocks ever made aren't watches either.
I class it as a wrist computer. Telling the time uses 0.001% of it's abilities. Calling it a watch is disrespectful of its potential.

You can tell time on it but it's a wrist computer, not a watch. If you like it then it's the right thing for you. I wouldn't be caught dead with one. But I'm old and boring.
