Two-tone: hot or not?

I've always been a fan of two-tone watches, though I did spend a number of my formative years watching Miami Vice. While two-tone fell out of fashion for awhile, it seems to be making a comeback. Should it?

It has to be done right but when that happens definitely. However, it seems easy to do it wrong.

I voted hot.

Not a big fan myself, looks a bit too "try hard" , but can look good if done properly. Don't like full gold aesthetic, but I was watching Baywatch not Miami Vice myself 😁👍🏻

Depends on how done, but I think Gold and Two Tone watches are coming back in vogue. The two-tone Rolex Explorer is a sleeper future "it" watch I think given some time.

It all depends on how it’s executed. If there’s too much going on it’s just trying too hard. If done in a manner where it’s more subtle but still noticeable on a less busy or “bling” watch than it can look quite good 👍🏻

Doesn't work for me, but my opinion doesn't mean jack.

Actually I became resently a sucker for two tones. I'm quite bored of all the depressing grey black colors. A touch of gold tone accents gives a nice touch of color and brings some life into the whole appearence. But it really depends on the watch, its design, shape, and dial/bezel color.

If you got the wrong one it might look like a grand das watch...not in a good way. Pr it might look awkward cheap. But with the right watch it can look damn hot.

When someone says two-tone watch, this is all that comes to mind:

Love my two tones. Also, since the market is hotter for steel, I’ve found that it’s easier to negotiate a discount on two tones.
