Is the Mark XX for me?

Hi everyone,

I thought that I had decided what watches I wanted to add to my collection but now I can’t stop thinking about the IWC Mark XX. I’ve always loved IWC but have always felt out of reach for my ~6.25” wrist. After watching Teddy B’s video where he talks about how the Big Pilot 43 wears smaller I can’t stop thinking that the Mark XX might actually work for me. Is this a watch I can realistically pull off? Is there anyone on WC with a small wrist who rocks one? I know my best option would be to try one on in person but I don’t live anywhere near an IWC AD. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

The lug to lug is a bit long (49mm) but I've seen people with 6 inch wrists rock it before. But without knowing the shape of your wrist, it's pretty much impossible to say.

If you're in Columbus, I've heard pretty decent things about James Free Jewelers in Dayton from friends (though I've never experienced). It could be worth a weekend excursion and you can always call ahead to make sure they have stock.

It wears really well. And I can't imagine it being too big for your wrist. Mines 18cm ish...

Your wrist is bigger than mine so I’m going to assume the Mark XX will be too big for me. I like the pilot 36, but the biggest draw to the Mark XX is the 120hr power reserve and 100m water resistance. Hopefully they update the 36

Yeah that would be great + the quick change release and micro adjust please
