Citizen Titanium Promaster Dive

So this beast of a watch just arrived. As all the reviews have said, it definitely wears smaller than the 47mm case size would suggest. Going to wear this for a day or two around the house to see how I like it. My only complaint is the strap which is kind of bulky. Any suggestions on a 24mm NATO strap? They are NOT easy to find.

Oh my goodness! That may be a beast...but what an impressive beast it is! Talk about the ultimate grab and go watch. You can totally wear that watch anytime and anywhere.

Absolutely! It was between this and hunting down a Seiko Tuna. Since this is pretty new, figured I’d go with something a little different. Plus, I’ve never given titanium a try. Definitely a different feel from stainless steel.

Swapped out the strap and put it on a NATO. Much more comfortable as I’m not a fan of rubber straps. I think it’s a keeper!

That watch requires commitment.

This thing is super wearable thanks to the small dial and short lug to lug. It looks way more intimidating in photos than it does in real life. My only complaints are the lug width which limits your options unless you underside to 22mm ( pretty unnoticeable with my Crown & Buckle premium NATO on it thanks to the straps thickness) and the date window which is pretty unreasable thanks to my old eyes. Minor quibbles aside, this is a very fun and comfortable watch for the price. Macy’s online has them for $396 until Monday and they also have the green version.

Wow! That looks like a lot of fun for less than $400, but the picture looks like a beast indeed! How heavy is it?

Crown & Buckle has a good assortment of inexpensive NATO straps in 24mm. I have several of their straps in smaller widths and like them, good material and quality hardware.

It’s titanium, so quite light. 90 or 100 grams I think. Been wearing it all day. Very comfortable!

Been looking at the Crown & Buckle straps. Have bought many of them. Great quality for sure. Especially the premium and matte premium NATOs.
