Absolutely. Besides, given their age, encouraging the hobby will only cost ME money. I do let them borrow a watch when they feel the need to wear one. Luckily the 16 year old and I are the same wrist size, so no adjustment needed when it’s something on a bracelet.
That’s awesome! I’ve been trying to pass along my love of watches to my boys. They seem to appreciate them (or are just very polite and tolerate my obsession) but they just don’t like wearing them all that much. There was a stretch when they were younger that they’d wear one of my divers to camp but that’s as far as it went (they sure added some patina to an orange monster and kinetic diver!). They’re still young though. So we’ll see where it goes.
I know this feeling all too well though GS is way out of my price range. I grabbed this on one of those Timex flash sales. Think I got it for around $120. It’s a nice diversion from the usual heavy watch.
It arrived! Good call. Fits great. My only complaint is that I wish it had a longer clasp with more microadjusts. Not because I couldn’t get a good fit. I just think it would look that much better.
As the kids say these days, it’s FIRE! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥
