A found heirloom

My mother came across this watch, a Semag, when going through my father's belongings not too long ago. There isn't too much information about the watch company itself other than this was probably made or purchased in the 60s. My mother didn't recall my father wearing it, and it's also possible that it belonged to my grandfather.

At 30mm case diameter and 37mm L2L, it's exceptionally small by today's standards. But what amazes me about this watch is that as soon as I give the crown 1-2 turns, the seconds hand starts revolving around the dial like the day that it was made. If this watch was ever serviced, it certainly hasn't been in the last 30-40 years.

That's pretty cool.
