Tag Connect & SevenFriday

Hello Watch Friends

A few years ago when the Tag Heuer Connect (Pictured here with my SevenFriday) first came out I bought one £1250, it was ok, it was a novelty item, it was new, I HAD to have one. I think the latest incarnation is a much more refined more developed watch. Thoughts?

I had both of those watches. I found the SF too large and difficult to read and replaced the Connect 45 for the 41 - which I also sold after a while as I didn't like the idea of charging my smart/luxury watch every night. Nice collection though. Enjoy them both 👍

The SF was a 40th birthday gift, so I won't be getting rid, i was going to buy a Dietrich instead, but went with the SF. I like the build quality and the size of the face, the strap might need changing soon though.

The connect was ok, I'd like to try the newest one on for size and functionality. But £1850 is a lot of money for a luxury watch you have to charge every night (like you said). 😊

Both great watches of course, but I am focused on the gin and port combo, that's a new cocktail for me !
